I know I haven't kept this up but I'm now betting less  but winning a decent amount and finding great amusement and some of the claims that drop into my inbox. One was for £1500 OFF a monthly tips subscription. That's more that a lot of people's take home pay and would take a lot of wins and nerve to put you into profit. Others mail me about the six winners they've had today or the 29 out of 30 winners they've had this month.

One guy had a semi good idea. Two long odds horses  with singles and doubles each way. I only saw it win once in two months and that was a day I didn't put a bet on. I was doing two 50p singles and a 50p e/w double.

One decent free tip is the Timeform Stat Selector that's published each day at around 10:30 / 11 on their APP. That tends to win more often than not. I now put on a 40p e/w trixie and three 60p singles.

Another small profit last time out from a 9/2 winner and a 9/2 place. Here's today's tips for you, and I am sure we will keep moving in the right direction. I know the weather is miserable but it is Sunday and if you are lucky you won't be at work.

It's funny a lot of the racecourse that I bet on , I don't have a clue where they are . Fairyhouse , Naas and Leopardstown are a few and I always thought Lingfield was in Ireland (it's in Surrey)  and Thirsk was in Scotland (It's in Yorkshire and has some excellent cafes) !!

Well it's hardly been an auspicious start to this blog , yesterday one place and no money. Anyway we will keep going with today's tips.

Having said that, my tips are not too bad and compare well with other tipsters, but really we're all selling snake oil, except I'm giving it away.

One of the problems is that paid tipster sites often massage their figures and don't take into account the stakes you lose. But the main thing is to just be sensible, which may at the moment being ignoring my tips .

Just one winner today and a return of £3.75 for a £5 bet, This is actually better than my financial advisors investments in stocks and stuff, but that is not as much fun. You will numerically lose more bets than you win, but with multiples and reasonable odds we will pull this into profit. I only started this because my own personal tips over the year have netted me £1,100 profit on £3,600 of bets you I can predict a winner or two.

Ladbrokes often give enhanced odds on reasonably priced horses, the other day I got £14  for a £2 bet then lost £4 on two more bets but they quite often come in.

Today we had our first non return, there will be many of those but I expect the profits to way counter the losses. If you check out Free Racing Tips (the top one on the right, they give a free time daily and a free Lucky 15 each Saturday. I take their paid service and they will make you a profit, not enough to live off but enough to buy you some nice things, my biggest win from their tips was £600 from a £20 bet.
